The new members of the Emporia State University Phi Delta Theta Fraternity study for a test with their pledge pops on Thursday, October 15, 2009. The initiated members are paired with the newest members to mentor these students as they learn fraternity history, the Greek alphabet and the general philosophy of the fraternity. The meeting is shirt-and-tie for new members. Many pledge pops who joined a portion of the meeting to help their sons study did not comply with the dress code. The evening was serious and focused.
